Dinesh O. Shah is Avan's Dada and is a retired professor at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He has always had a deep love for books, poetry and songs since early childhood. Nothing gives him more joy than to work with Avan on this book of his favorite childhood stories told to him by many of his family members and friends.

Avan Shah is a 6th grade student at Doherty Middle School in Andover, Massachusetts. He decided to write this book to share some of the great stories that his Dada (grandfather) has told him over the years. He has always had a love of stories and growing interest in drawing and sketching which helped drive his interest in developing this book of folk tales.
